Hi there!
I’m Dawn White - photographer, artist, and DIYer. I’m a local photographer in Alvord, Texas. I started my journey with photography when I was in elementary school. I’ve also been fascinated with technology but when I got my hands on a camera… I was able to create so many things. Choosing the right subject & waiting to have my photos developed was Magical! I was hooked! Later in middle school I joined the yearbook staff and took ALL the computer classes Mr.Caron offered (Hey Jude!) This is when I was tasked with taking 3 photos of EVERY student in our school - elementary, middle, and high school! I took this as my sole mission and went to every event and stopped as many students as I could to nap a quick, candid shot. This is also when I started experimenting with Photoshop, a new editing software our school just got. I did so many blocky cutouts and funky photos 😆 it’s fun to look back on. But it got me to where I am today and I’m happy for the run down memory lane. Anyways…
I’m starting these articles so y’all (you all, yous guys) can get to know me aside from my photos and quick captions. I feel that I get so close to each family I photograph and become a part of their family! So I want to return the favorite ♥️
